ABOUT ME

I’m trying to live my life in two direction at the same time.
First of all I’m trying to develop myself in the academic world and I hope one day I have some good science career. And I put a lot of efforts in it because I like this way of life and I like scientific way of thinking at all .
But at the same time I’m trying to take every opportunity for getting fun or for sum travel. I like to do a lot of strange and unusual things and I prefer untraditional way of traveling then commercial tourism. That way I’m trying to sea the world from many different aspects. Becouse I’m convinced that our world is a very interesting place and we have to research it in every angle that we can. And I’m trying to find the world’s romantic and philosophical sides…
So the secret of my life is hidden in the balance between those two different “faces”

PHILOSOPHY

Long long time ago, before 1300 years the ancient Bulgarian were a nomad tribe... They spend all their life on the horse back in endless ride in the endless plains. At that time they had a legend, which the shamans telling the little children sitting around the evening fire. The shamans tell that their ancient god has no shape and has no image and he is endless like the endless blue sky. So all tribe can ride fearless in the steppes until the sky is blue… Until the sky is blue there god still not turned off his face from them and he is still their protector. And the shamans were teaching the little children that they can ride deep in to the unknown, as far as the sky over their heads is still blue…
This beautiful but of course invented legend show very good my personal plylosophy at this stge of my life – I will travel until the sky is blue...

I would like to help with everything I can… I can provide detail information about my city, my country and some places in Balkan Peninsula. I know those places very well and I know what is worth to be visited… Both traditional landmarks and not so commercial view. If I have enough free time I can try to be interesting guide  And I’m ready to help in every other aspects.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just one week in Lithuania at the home of my friend Ieva and several days in Latvia and Estonia. But I’m impatient to get more experience

Interests

I’m interested in history… all kind of history. I’m study it and I hope one day these science will become my profession.
I like sports, I’m addicted to swimming. That’s why I spend so many time at the seacoast
I like to read books and I like to watch football matches too. I even have my own collection of football scarfs, which I take from most of the places that I visit.
And of course there is so many other thinks that I’m interested, but it is impossible to describe all of them so you will have to wait until you meet me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, there is a lot of them…

One of my favorite writers is Erich Maria Remark, most of his books are between my favorite. From Bulgarian writers I like a lot some of Anton Donchev’s books… My favorite poet is Hristo Smirnenski… Soon there will be new authors and titles, because there is so meny books that I have to read still.

About music there is soooo many good songs and bands… I like all types of music accept some styles of jazz. One of my favorite groups is Ramstain. And Offspring too. But I like also house and rock.

And my favorite movie is “Snatch” 

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A lot of them… But the last and fresh is my hitchhike trip from Sofia to Kaunas and Riga this october. There was some interruptions that I have to use train or bus, but the biggest part of the trip was on hitchhike and I’m proud with it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I suppose I can help other couchsurfers to improve their history knowledge. Every question about that subject would be very interesting about me. Even if I don’t know the answer of some specific question it would be great pleasure for me to improve my own learning during the search.
And I can share all my experience in hitchhike. I have many trips in this way in different parts of Europe, of course mostly in Bulgaria. I’m not sure how good will be my information about other countries, but you can ask me about hitchhike at every place in Bulgaria.
First think that I would like to learn is everything about couchsurfing, because I’m still new in the community. So I will need every kind of information that will help me to understand the etiquette and to adopt the customs.
