CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I wanna be an artist when I grow up.
Does anyone actually grow up?
I love passionate people, music ,art, learning, whiskey, creativity, snowboarding , alternate technologies and helping. Its nice to be nice.
I've been travelling and volunteering trying to learn more about a more sustainable version of our culture, and one day soon I will start building my dream treehouse. Wanna help?
PHILOSOPHY
don't waste it.
Don't take yourself too seriously and remember to smile.
I'm just like my blood type - B positive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i've worn out couches with tremendous strangers with and without this wonderful internet contraption. I host when I have space to offer, take up little bits of space in other peoples life when they are kind enough to offer and try to bump into as many colourful spirits as my time will allow.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfers rock.
From the comfort of my own boothseat to every corner of the world, in any new town, there are like minded friends waiting for you. Its not just a way to travel, its the best way, even in your own home -travelling without moving.
Interests
Music, love, people and all kinds of creativity.
"Our true divinity is in our ability to create."
I love to be making something, building something, painting something, designing something, planning something and also trying to finish off all the projects I've already got on the go. Left to my own devices there's alot of farting about with stuff to be done.
I make alot of furniture, some of it cool, some of it functional. Some of it pays the bills and some are just pretty.
I've recently re discovered my dancing feet through swing dancing and lindy hop. Awesome fun, i should have started this caper years ago.

Music, Movies, and Books
django reinheardt is King.
Just try and be blue when him and stephane grappeli crank it up.
Awesome stuff.
But then, pearl jam rock. the black crowes are the best live band in the world, Tool are confusingly good. Qotsa rule.Elvis still has lessons to teach us all, Ray charles, stevie wonder, explosions in the sky, the jb's, and Tom Waits......best song writer in the world today. seriously don't get me started.
I loved Waking life by richard linklater. His Before Sunrise and Sunset also appeals to my romantic side. I heart huckabees and Stranger than fiction had me double over laughing and I could probably watch the Dark knight a couple of hundred times without getting bored. Maybe just one hundred times.
And have a million classic novels to catch up with, but just can't put the guitar down.
My Ishmael by Daniel quinn is worth a read and eckhaart tolle is definatley on to something too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year, I snowboarded a glacier, built a straw bale house and waved goodbye to my beautiful companion , Keef. My dog and co pilot of 15 years.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you've got a guitar feel free to join in - lets make a racket. I'm no singer but I'm right up for whiskey appreciation and a few tunes.
I'd be very surprised if you can't learn a little something off everybody in one way or another. I'll start with music and hopefully some other golden nuggets may just appear.
