My life right now is all about learning, sharing, exploring, discovering, and traveling. I'm excited to meet new people from all walks of life, unearth the natural wonders of the world, and conceive the perfect adventure! (with plenty of extra time for playing and shenanigans)

I live my life to experience the world and the environment around me! I am a firm believer that the goodness in life belongs to those who believe, and i am one of those believers.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host and be hosted! I have learned so much through couch surfing, from how to grow and make your own peach salsa, to what's it's like to be a Syrian citizen living in the United States in a time of turmoil. To meet people you never would have met otherwise. To make amazing friends all over the world. To transform, grow, and blossom into a whole new person.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some life changing experiences through couchsurfing, making amazing connections with people all over the globe. Being welcomed into someone's home is an incredible experience of belonging and acceptance. I'm humbled to be able to do the same for others.

Interests

I love life, music, people, nature, traveling, singing, photography, bikes, talking, dancing (oh boy do I enjoy the opportunity to move my body to good music!), exploring, bumbling, and most importantly, being surrounded by wonderful and amazing people! I also love building and making things, tearing complicated things apart and trying to put them back together, like my 1980 Gillig spaceship named Thump! Oh and how could I forget, I have something of an infatuation with craft beer (plus I brew myself) and I always love a good cup of coffee!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of the most influential parts of my life, and as such ill listen to almost anything. Everything from electronic, hip-hop, rock, rap, jam bands, lo-fi, trip-hop, poetry, orchestral, instrumental, post-rock, experimental rock, classic rock, psychedelic rock, oldies, blues, jazz, I like it all!
Aside from listening, I love to make music, playing instruments, singing, whatever inspires me in the moment!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed to the top of Mount Olympus when I was 17! Through the rain and a thunderstorm all the way to where the Greek gods and goddesses rest their heads.

Scuba diving in Lou Key in the Florida Keys with black tip reef sharks!

Hiking through the Parvati Valley in India, up to the hot springs of Kier Ganga!

Burning Man, now that is an amazing event to participate in!

But by far the most amazing thing I have seen are the people on CourchSurfing who open their doors to strangers to learn, grow, and communicate with other like minded individuals from all over the world. Isn't that itself an amazing thing?!

Teach, Learn, Share

The philosophy of Teach. Learn. Share. is one that I try and embody with couchsurfing. There is nothing more personal than letting someone into your home, to share your food and bed, and to have an experience with a stranger that you otherwise never would have had. They teach you and as you meet new surfers and strangers, you tend to pass that knowledge on.
