ABOUT ME

I am 23 years old, and am a true Canadian girl at heart, even though I am living in London England now. I'm have just finished my MSc at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and I have been working full time several months now. I love traveling, and I have been very fortunate as I have been able to travel quite a bit throughout university. I have a huge list of places that I would like to go to, but really, I will go anywhere! I love learning new languages, all different sorts of music, and movies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just starting out in Couch Surfing, but I am hoping to gain some experiences soon, and I am more than happy to meet people if they should ever come to London. I don't have a couch currently, but I hope to have space available for people to stay with me by next year!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had two couchsurfing experiences through Couchsurfing, but it was so amazing! Our hosts in Thessaloniki and Sofia were amazing, and such interesting people. I have also "couchsurfed" through debate, as I'm always staying at other people's homes during tournaments.

Interests

Besides school, debate and traveling, I am interested in music (playing the piano, singing), watching TV and movies, knitting, and spending time with friends. I also love learning languages. I currently speak five differen languages (ranging from expert to beginner)!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: V for Vendetta, RENT, Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (old one, not the new one!), Lord of War

Music: any kinds of music, although I'm partial to pop, hip-hop, country and easy-listening. Some of my favorite bands include Rascal Flatts, The New Pornographers, Amy Milan, Lady Antebellum, Marianas Trench, and a whole bunch of others!

TV: How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, House, So You Think You Can Dance, Glee, Law & Order: SVU, Criminal Minds, I'm pretty easy going when it comes to TV.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing that I have done is climbed the Pyramid of the Sun in Mexico, which is the third tallest pyramid in the world, and the Pyramid of the Moon.
