ABOUT ME

Hi there,

i'm Manuel, also called "Al"... I did a lot of music (electric bass) in the last 10 years in all kind of so called "black music", esp. Reggae. I've played in several bands and performed lots of concerts in Germany and also some countries around. Somehow sad but true, at the moment active music doesn`t play the first role in my life anymore, I´m in re-arranging mood :) but I'm still listening and body-drumin'

Furthermore I`ve studied geology with focus on hydrogeology (which means any type of getting drinking water out of the earth, and cleaning it etc.) and work as groundwater modeler in berlin and round the world. Also I freelance in special civil engineering. So freelancing for me is the perfect working situation, coz after ending up with one project I can freely decide whats up next.

Right now, with no musical or working pressure anymore, I'm trying to spend more time on traveling, coz that's what I really missed the last years...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not a luxury guy, so for traveling I don't want to end up in hotels. I wanna dive deeper into the cultures which I'm visiting, therefor CS is a perfect platform. And thanks to couchsurfing, I can find life-loving people all over the world. If you'll once come to Berlin, don't hesitate to write me :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

hosted friends my whole life and later on I started with couchsurfing... for freeminded people this community is worth more than silver and gold, respect! So only nice experiences so far!
