ABOUT ME

open-minded, friendly. I don't say no to a whole lot. I love being outside. I don't celebrate holidays too emphatically, for whatever reason. I've been a competitive athlete in some form, or another, since I was 13. I'm good at pulling pranks. I'm bad for advice. I don't like any kind of nut in my desserts.

PHILOSOPHY

Well...my personal philosophy is to not get too caught up in a single philosophy. I'm pretty confident I don't know anything. But even that is questionable...maybe I'm a genius. hmmm. Damn you Socrates.
In general though, I am simply....ok with whatever happens. I'm good at accepting the situation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like crossing borders, and connecting with the people I just think this is a great idea for a site/community/whatever you want to call it. I'm all for it. Plenty of different folks can stay with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no couchsurfing experience in terms of this site, but I have surfing on couches for a long time. I have been hosting people for a long time, wherever it is that I'm living, which tends to change frequently. I've also been with quite a few like-minded people who have opened their door to me. No better way to start a relationship than to open the door and say welcome. No judgments, no baggage, just open minds and open arms. cool beans.

Interests

I love sports. I like to read. I like to play guitar. I love to see live music. I like competition...whether it's darts, golf, who can drink the most milk, or throw their shoe the farthest.
I also can relaaaaax.
I'm interested in interests....meaning I like to do new things. That might be my greatest interest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Depends on the mood and time of day. I don't read a lot of fiction. Since this is the case, every book I read, basically, has a different author.
Movies...I'm way past my movie snob days. I like to be entertained at times, educated at times, and enlightened at times. Depends on my mood.
Music...everything from arcade fire and bon iver...to elliott smith...weezer...common...talib kweli..taking back sunday...i dunno. like most, it's diverse, and there is plenty. of course my favorite in N'Sync though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) I once fit three McDonald's hot cakes into my mouth.
2) Tiger Woods' caddy farted on me, and Tiger laughed.
3) I saw a black bear fighting four coyotes on a middle school soccer field.
Honorable Mention:
Saw Bon Iver live when he was a nobody, and we partied.
