Sometimes I catch myself taking things too seriously, so I put on silly costumes and have dance parties in the kitchen. You should try it. It feels pretty great.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe my life will be a success if I live most of it without worrying. And it's all a bit easier when I remember to laugh at myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My former housemates in VT are hosts and I met a couple cool surfers that way. I'm new to surfing but I love the idea of open hearts and open homes. I also love to cook for anyone and everyone, wherever I may be.

I'm a sponge. If you love it and speak of it with passion, I will no doubt find it fascinating. So please, tell me what you love.
I have much to learn and would like to hone my skills on the banjo, on the dance floor, and in the kitchen. I love to preserve fruits and veggies in pretty glass jars for the wintertime, personalize clothing with a needle and thread, and (most recently) make earrings out of feathers and beads. I would appreciate some pointers on my tree climbing techniques.
