Overview
About Me
Born and raised in the United States, I studied at the University of Missouri—St. Louis, earning my B.A. in political science. While in university, I worked at United Parcel Service (UPS), developing a successful career there. I received a few promotions, eventually becoming an operations manager. Eventually, however, I resigned in order to travel and explore the world about which I studied.
During the span of my travels, I traveled to 40+ countries across four continents – from India to Israel, from Cambodia to China, from the Philippines to the Palestinian Territories, to name a few. I have also had valuable experiences volunteering, including the following: assisting people in earthquake-ravaged villages in Sumatra, Indonesia; teaching English to children and Buddhist monks in Myanmar; and assisting more than one hundred children from impoverished areas of Manila, Philippines with painting murals for their schools.
In 2013, while traveling in Israel, I met an Israeli woman who is now my wife. In 2014 I moved to Israel, studied Hebrew (still learning), and enrolled in graduate school. As of December 2016, I completed my M.A. at the University of Haifa, Israel. My wife and I have a beautiful one-year-old daughter -- and we both work in the center.
