CURRENT MISSION
Experience the good things and share the love
ABOUT ME
I’ve been living in the Dominican Republic since early 2013 after a steady 4 years of work and travel. I arrived somewhat confident that like previous visits, I’d be able to make a living teaching kitesurfing and doing photography projects whilst I found my feet. I still do work with kitesurfing and photography and love it, but I’m grateful my main focus could turn to teaching and implementing sustainability. I’m working as a Permaculture designer, consultant and teacher with Taino Farm, and running permaculture tours via the Extreme Hotel. I’m also working along side Ada Smith with her creation of a new school garden , and environmental curriculum at the Mariposa DR Foundation.
My other main interests include; surfing, general health and fitness, and self development.
PHILOSOPHY
I 100% believe If you do good things, good things happen.
I'm much more motivated by physical experiences and adventure than material possessions although it would suck to go without my kites and or surfboard :/
Sharing experiences to me, is really what life is all about.
I have never been particularly religious although, I believe all religions intend to teach good morals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met some great people in Vancouver through CS and surfed and hosted a couple of nights there. I since couchsurfed around in s/e Asia. I have spent some time with my friend Janny at the CS paradise In Ho Chi Minh courtesy of Steve, Adam(Dj Ajam), Annie and Mhiem and it really was an eye opening experience. Thanks to these guys i spent my first day in Ho Chi Minh learning about the history, language and culture, Drinking 20p beers and enjoying classic Vietnamese cuisine with locals and ex-pats from all over the world. This was followed by an evening watching a local band playing Hendrix covers that blew my mind; Day 2 I had a role in a Vietnamese soap thanks to a friend of Annie's. Couchsurfing is something i will always be involved in and i will definitely be spreading the word. I look forward to hosting on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic.

Music, Movies, and Books
Jack Kerouac books have been inspiring. Howard marks is a good writer. Dali Lama- I highly recommend reading what he has to say.
I like Biographies and non fiction. I also love reading about the Natural Environment or watching Documentaries. David Attenborough and Steve Urwin have always kept me entertained.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Surfing before sunrise in Baja in Feb 2010 and being joined by a pair of Humpback Whales breaching just a coupe of hundred meters away. Underwater You cold here them sing to each other.
