I want to stop telling me I can wait, I will travel later.. and start meeting other persons, seeing other things than the ones I already know

ABOUT ME

I finished my studies in Lyon, and now I am doing a PhD in Toulouse (France). I have been here for a bit more than one year, and I am still discovering this city, but I find it really great, and the people very nice ! I'd also like to go and discover other countries, meet other people, see different things than the ones I was used to...
The thing is I am quite shy, so it's not that easy for me, but I indeed hope it will get better !

PHILOSOPHY

I just realized there are so many things to discover, experiences to live, and I feel like I haven't seen anything whereas actually it so easy to travel !
So I'd like to go and discover the places that attract me instead of waiting for I don't know what...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I've been in Toulouse, I only hosted twice, but each time I had a good time, going out or just staying chating at my place. I travelled once thanks to CS, in Austria, and in Slovakia, and it was really fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I 've had few CS experiences for the moment, but each one was very good : I hosted 2 guys in my place in Toulouse last summer, and we had an amazing night ! I also recently hosted a girl for one night and staying chating at my place was really nice too. And with a friend we surfed 3 nights in Vienna, and one in Bratislava, and each time, our host was really nice, told us what to see in the city, nice places or pubs to go... several times I also met some couchsurfer who were staying at a friend's place : nice moments too...

Interests

Like everyone I think, I like spending time with my friends, in bars and pubs... The ones I had in Lyon are far away from me now that I live in Toulouse, but I met other people really nice here and I am still discovering and enjoying this city as much as I can !
I also love dancing : I danced salsa and rock in clubs in my school when I was in Lyon. I stopped for a while, but I really miss it so I'd love to start again here in Toulouse !

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music in general, but I love rock : Muse, Green day, The Strokes, Red Hot Chili Peppers... I also like french artists like Aldebert, Debout sur le zinc, Babet, and lots of other groups or singer (Maroon five, Milow, Coldplay..)
My favourite books are those of Terry Pratchett.

And about the movies, I love when the end is unexpected. Just as an example I loved "The Illusionist".

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn everything I can be taught ! I can teach you a little of cooking, a bit of rock and salsa... And I'd love to share experience from other people about the places they've been, the things they've seen...
