ABOUT ME

We like unicorns, sunsets and long walks on the beach.

No really, we have been on the road backpacking through Europe for nearly six months now. we have spent a lot of that time living and working on farms in france, working on our french and getting to know a way of life that is different to the 9am-5pm working week we have grown accustomed to in Melbourne. We love good food and wine and love to party. one of our mottos is that we will try anything twice (as we might have got it wrong the first time).
We both love music, both love singing and Myles likes to play the guitar when he can.
We're both searching for ways in which we can live our lives and be happy - apart from travel (unfortunately we can't afford to do this always :-) ). We love to meet new people and discuss views, experiences and different ways of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are currently traveling for 2009-2010 so we cannot offer a couch during this time however we look forward to hosting when we return to Melbourne in 2011.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Erin and I have been WWOOF'ing (willing workers on organic farms) for four months in 2009. While this is not couch surfing it is similar in the sense that we share space with complete strangers. we have met some great people and shared some amazing experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

SciFi favourite genre for books and movies. A few book I like (today) zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance, the tao of pooh and the teh of piglet, the tao of physics, the Mars series by Kim Stanley Robinson, veronica decides to die - paolo cohelo. I like all type of music, however Psychedelic Trance is the most noteworthy.
Erin: Movies - Dirty Dancing is still my favourite from my childhood even though I know it's not a great film compared to today's standards. I like a mixture of films, sci-fiction, drama, thriller, film noir, comedy etc... can't cut down the list.
Books: fantasy and some sci-fi
music: odd mix - jazz (miles davis, michael buble), musical theatre (phantom etc), pop, electronic (daft punk), balads, classical... so much to like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Myles: Every day I am alive is truly amazing...
Erin: the great outdoors (away from people, cities, troubles) and of course genuine moments with fantastic people
