About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live life to the fullest!
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in the Senoran Desert at the southern most extreme portion of the Colorado Plateau. I grew up rowdy and rambunctious, but mellowed quite a bit thanks to the Taoist philosophy and art of T'ai Chi Ch'uan. My family moved and traveled the U.S. alot when i was growing up...and I have been traveling and working in different places since. I really enjoy jobs that challenge me to learn useful information. If I'm working a job and I stop learning, I move on. I enjoy staying active. I really enjoy physical activities that are challenging mentally and spiritually. Currently Whitewater kayaking and surfing are physical endeavors that never stop challenging me. I like to be healthy and fit and eat good food. I love to see, explore and experience new things. I consider myself a spiritual person, and I love to laugh!
PHILOSOPHY
Live life in the present to the fullest...It is called the present because it is a precious gift!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm finally based somewhere where i can provide a couch.I'm sure as i explore the project more i will find ways in which I'm able to participate and help the CS Project community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Long before I ever heard of this project I have been a couch surfer. I have belonged to a tribe of people who travel and love to visit friends in new and interesting places. The longest I have had someone surf my couch that I didn't know really well was 6 weeks. I had met Lenka and Katarina Satavova when they were working at the Black Bear Coffee House in Denali summer of 2000. They came all the way from the Czech Republic to snowboard for a couple of weeks and extended their stay by a few weeks. I have had several extended stays from family members and friends from months up to half a year. Often their stay far exceeded the original plan due to an excessive fun factor.
