ABOUT ME

Me.....I am continually searching for the "Beautiful Life". A journey of successes and failures. I sometimes get sidetracked and lose sight of what is important in life. Work can takes over and consumes me.
A 3 month travelling extravaganza usually fixes that. My life is sudddenly ends up back on track and with more clarity. I am heading towards the beautiful life once again.

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything at least once. Life is meant to be sampled.....for the good and the bad. The extremes of both are how you know you've lived.

I am somewhat regreting saying the extremes of both now. Having returned from South america where my life threatened three times, I would like a little more of the good right now. I am back in my home city of Melbourne and its such a beautiful city.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am from Melbourne Australia and new to Hosting. In Feb 2010 I headed to South America for a 4 month motorcycle trip. I have showed a few CS'ers the hidden gems of Melbourne often missed by the wandering tourist. I have also hosted CS'ers. Sometimes they stay for a few days others for a few weeks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my journey through south america I met many challenges through which the couch surfing community has helped me. From life threatening to brazilian beaurocracy, the couch surfing community has been absolute gold. Thank you guys. You know who you are.

Films - I was introduced to Good Bye Lennon recently by a CS'er. That was a nice movie. I enjoy outdoor cinemas. One day maybe I will create one in my garden.

I travelled with my brother to some remote islands in the artic circle to watch the northern lights. Simply awesome. Scenery in Norway is great.
