ABOUT ME

As my profile name suggests I am working as a Gap Assistant in England. Since coming to Europe I have caught the 'travel bug' and now have a desire to see as much of Europe as I can before I return to Australia in December.

I love sports, I am currently coaching hockey as part of my job. I also LOVE comedy and the performing arts. It would be my ultimate dream to have a job which involved performing and traveling!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short and the world is big. We should all work a little, travel a lot and have lots of fun!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just found out about this project and thus some might say I am a CS virgin. I am currently using Italy as a tester but so far after two stops it seems to be panning out very nicely.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far only two stops, one in Milano and one in Firenze. But hopefully many more in the future!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I must confess I am not a huge movie buff, but I do enjoy the odd Tarentino film.

Music - I LOVE Australian Rock... bands like Grinspoon, Faker, Butterfly Effect to name a few. Also folk and roots music for example The Cat Empire!

Before this year, playing hockey at National Championships and being involved in the Pan Pacific School Games was a definite highlight!

I can give you some knowledge on the Australian way of life, and maybe if you are into academia... I know a bit of stuff about general science and sports development. I think it is a little more interesting than it sounds!!!
