ABOUT ME

Ellen: I have recently completed highschool and got into my chosen course of Physiotherapy. My boyfriend and I took a gap year from studying and decided to see the world!!!

We have already visited Germany (Frankfurt, Munich - Oktoberfest!!, Berlin and Lubeck), Austria (Salzburg), Czech Republic (Prague), The Netherlands (Amsterdam), Belgium (Brugge) and France (Paris).

Three years ago i did a school trip to europe for 1 month and caught the travel bug so i had to come back to experience more!!!

I love to sing, and can play a little piano. I love animals as i come from a small farm. I have a turtle called frank!!:)

I love to meet new people. Growing up my family hosted alot of exchange students from around the world who i continue to stay in touch with years later.

I like to think that i am fun, loving, very friendly and a very approachable person.

James: I am a high school graduate of 2008 and traveling around Europe with my girlfriend Ellen for four months. I hope to study Pharmaceutical Engineering. I am fairly random, love many diverse and different things. I want to visit loads of places before I die. I would love to go work on the slops in Whistler, Canada as i love snowboarding. Hopefully might hit the slops on this trip in Geneva. I also like to wake board and my family has a boat and place along the Murray River where we spend our holidays.

I like music, i have a bass and both acoustic and electric guitars. I love rock and roll, dabble in some techno and enjoy metal music.

PHILOSOPHY

Tomorrow is a mystery, and yesterday is history; but today is a gift and that is why they call it the present!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a CS newbie/virgin. But i love the concept after hearing about it from another traveller and if all goes to plan i might become a host myself!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have couch surfed only once!! but we had an amazing time with our host, Cedric. We loved getting a locals point of view of their town and experiencing many things would would not have with out the couch surfing medium!

Ellen: Travelling is an obvious interest of mine at the moment. Being in a new city or even a new country every week is so exciting. I love meeting new fun, unique and friendly people.

I also love to sing and dance!!!! I mainly sing Jazz Blues. I also dabble in Piano :P

James: I enjoy listening to music, itunes is always open. I love anime and japanese culture, i also try to draw manga but am quite average :P but some day i hope to be good. I also do many extreme sports; i have white water rafted, i wake and knee board, i try to skateboard and Ellen and I are jumping out of a plane at a great hight to Sky Dive once we return to Australia. I also frequently indulge in videogames, going to the movies and going out with my mates.

Ellen: Twilight
Biographys, i am currently reading the Anne Frank Diary after learning so much german history through my visit to Berlin.

James: I mainly read and watch manga. I love Death Note, that series blew my mind. Elfen Lied was great. Claymore has an awesome story line; and Basilisk was action packed!!

I listen and appreciate all music, anything that has a good beat and makes me feel good. I got my ipod robbed in Madrid, so im quite devastated musically at the moment. I love Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver, Buckcherry, Tool, Blue Juice, Cut Copy, MGMT, Rage Against the Machine, Stone Temple Pilots, Megadeth, Queens of the Stone Age... gah, i cant be bothered writting more, you get the idea.
