ABOUT ME

I love people, and I'll try anything once. I love new things. I'm outgoing, I talk a lot, I like going out until the sun comes up, and I have fantastic friends and family. I graduated from university in May 2009. One month later, I moved to Frankfurt-my first living abroad experience. It has changed my attitude, my demeanor, my character, my life. I know I made the best decision for myself and sometimes can't believe that this is my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently moved back to America after a year in Frankfurt, Germany as an au pair for a great family. I quickly learned about CS and had countless great CS experiences. After those, I don't think I'll ever go back to staying in youth hostels. I wish I could host right now, but given the circumstances (living with my family), I can't. However, I would gladly meet up with anyone who's stopping through the area for a coffee and good chat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was in Brussels, Belgium. The guys we stayed with gave up the entire top half of their flat, as well as took us out for a fantastic Saturday night. They drove us around to see the sights and showed me how good CS can be.
