ABOUT ME

If you translate my last name into english it means alive or lively and that´s who I am! I´m an open and tolerant person, I love to laugh (maybe a little bit too much sometimes) but also enjoy serious conversations about everything and nothing. I believe I´m a good listener.
I´m very ambitious: what I do, I´m doing with 200% commitment, but there´s always room for my family and friends. They are my life. I´m the fourth of five siblings and I love my brothers and sisters, they´re my best friends. My mum taught me more about what´s important in life than 13 years of school. I apreciate all the opportunities she gave me so much.
I´m a very caring person (therefor my friends gave me the nickname "Mama"). It might look chaotic from the outside but I´m actually pretty organized.
I can´t stand intolerant persons, people taking everything for granted and not respecting others and people judging books by their covers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just had my first couchsurfing experience and it was amazing! I surfed in Toronto for a couple days and had a great time with my host Jess. We explored the city together and went to a CS gathering. It was awesome to meet other couchsurfers and to hear their stories. Everyone is so open and hospitable.
I fell in love with CouchSurfing!

Interests

I love everything about theatre: acting on stage, backstage, all the preperations, the great literature behind many plays or simply watching a play and knowing how much work there is to do before everything´s good to be performed on stage.
I also enjoy sailing a lot. I was captain of my school´s sailing group and of one of the four "cutters" (type of boat).
In general I like reading and listening to music, mostly Rock of all kinds, but also other stuff.
For me sciences are very interessting especially physics. If you get me talking about quantum phenomenons or astrophysics, I might become totally excited about it and maybe won´t stop, so be cautious about that, I´m a bit of a freak there :)
I´m pretty much open for anything that sounds interessting!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the movie "Moulin Rouge" with Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor, because it´s so colourful and fast-moving. I like that it´s so musical-like and bizarre. So in general I enjoy movies like that, but also literary films like "Pride and Prejudice" or "Shakespeare in Love".
I mostly listen to Rock music of all kinds, so almost everything from Rock 'n' Roll, over PopRock and Indie to Metal (don´t like most of Black- and Deathmetal though). I also like House and some electronic music, especially to party. Sometimes I just need something soft and nice, that´s when it´s more like Pop and Softrock.
When it comes to books I like fiction and fantasy because sometimes it´s nice to just drift off into another world. I admitt that I loved reading the Harry Potter books and also the Twilight Saga is very fascinating. Another thing is that I rather read a book over and over again than reading one I don´t enjoy.
