About Me
Hey, I’m Anna Louise Sutton a designer, traveler, and all-around curious soul! I’m originally from the UK, now calling Berlin home. My journey here has been full of unexpected twists and growth, and Couchsurfing has been a huge part of that. Meeting people from around the world, learning about their stories, and opening my door to new perspectivesthis is what keeps me inspired in life and in my work.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe travel is more than just visiting a place; it’s about immersing yourself in the lives of others, sharing cultures, and seeing the world from a fresh angle. As a designer, these experiences flow straight into my work. Each person I meet brings new ideas that spark my creativity. Whether it’s designing calming, meditative spaces or exploring sustainable, nature-inspired interiors, every connection adds depth to my projects.

Teach, Learn, Share
Yoga and meditation play a big role in my life, and as a 500-hour certified teacher, I’d love to share that energy with you mwhether through a grounding yoga session, meditation, or just a chat about mindfulness. It’s all about bringing a bit of calm and clarity to each day.
As an interior designer, I’m always full of ideas and inspiration, and I’d be thrilled to share creative discussions around design, exhibitions, and sustainable spaces. I’ve also got a strong connection to fashion, which was actually my first creative love thanks to my uncle, who was a dressmaker. My journey into design began there, so I’d love to swap ideas on style, art, or anything that brings out our individual flair.
I also love dancing right now, I’m on a mission to master salsa! If you’re into dancing or know any good spots, let’s go! And if the opportunity to surf comes up, I’d be more than ready for that adventure too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hosting is my way of giving back to this global community. I know how it feels to be far from home and welcomed like family, and I want others to feel that, too. When you stay with me, I hope you’ll experience a piece of Berlin that’s relaxed, inspiring, and a little bit out of the ordinary. It’s a privilege to offer a safe, warm space for traveler's to land, reflect, and grow.
I have a long history with creativity and connection—from organising women’s empowerment retreats to immersing myself in yoga and mindfulness. These experiences showed me how deeply our surroundings shape our well-being, and I carry that into my design work now. Creating spaces where people feel seen, inspired, and connected is what I love most. Couchsurfing brings this sense of openness and creativity into my everyday life, and it keeps me grounded in what really matters—connection.
