ABOUT ME

I am a student from Canada taking time off from school to discover life. I love traveling, cooking, music, partying, and nature. Although I study marketing, I am an aspiring cook and work part time in a kitchen during school. I DJ electro/house music once in a while for fun and money.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life with no regrets.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined the Couchsurfing project 3 months ago, and have surfed a few couches in between hostels. It's always been a great experience and I look forward to hosting when I get back to Canada.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have no musical training whatsoever but have been DJing as a hobby since I was 15 and got my first set of turntables.
I love good movies. A few of my favourite movies: The Life Aquatic, Oldboy, Kids, Les Invasions Barbares, much more.
As a child I grew up without a tv and read a lot, but as I grew older I stopped. One of the best changes in my life happened recently, when I started devouring books again on my travels. Best books I've read recently: Slaughterhouse 5, The Tipping Point, The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most challenging thing I ever did was an intense 3 week camping trip in Canada with Outward Bound. I have never been so in touch with myself and nature as then and it was totally life changing. Highlight of the trip: broke a canoe on some rapids and a bear stole a barrel of food in the same night! Funny how these difficult times are often the most memorable.
