About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be light like the wind, to be able to flow like the water

ABOUT ME

After compliting my Masters in Music Education, now I work for Youth Fusion as music teacher in a Inuit Community in Northern Quebec.
I investigated the power of music of engaging the body and bolstering transformative experiences.
I also lead workshops based on body percussion and improvisation with the purpose of support increased self awareness, offer space of interrelation and community building, social resistance, through an embodied process of music creation.

I am a flute player, songwriter and composer.

I am a bit nomadic, although I had not the chance to move a lot recently!

I love freedom, I love music, I like storytelling. I love life.

Sometimes I think too much!

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to be a bit more elastic, a bit more light. A bit like water, a bit like wind

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I have been music director for a Street Opera here in MTL. The project was initiated by the sense lab of concordia university, under the direction of Maud Watel Kazak. All rehearsal had been carried out through improvisation, both for actors, dancers and musicians. Musical motives and themes emerged all from that process of group creation and sharing. It has been an extremely exciting and empowering process.

I have also travelled in Saskatchewan and Alberta in the winter time. The thing more exciting is the meeting with some Native elders, whose knowledge and wisdom really enlightened my heart and vision. I participated to the ritual of the sweat lodge, a unique experience. I long for such Spiritual and enlivening experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

Flute, Epistempology... I have always considered teaching and learning part of one dynamic happening that engage 1, 2 or more persons in relationship.
It’s grate when sometimes it’s possible to share thoughts, passions, ideas, music… the best things, the one we consider worth to be known. Unluckily in daily life this may happen just seldom
