ABOUT ME

I'm currently a junior at Bucknell University in central PA, majoring in International Relations with an African concentration. I studied Arabic and cultural studies courses for a semester in Morocco. I love languages, playing the piano, music, ultimate frisbee, coffee, tea, and a good night out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CouchSurfing experience but have heard great things from some fellow Surfers. I have yet to have the opportunity to host in the States.

Interests

Driving with the windows down, good books, crazy nights, live jazz, dancing, using garlic in the kitchen, lazy mornings in bed, not watching television, rum & cokes, blue eyes, ultimate and ultimate players, hot summer weather and jumping into rivers, both time with friends and time by myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I spent a couple years (and still am) reading classic lit... favorite authors include: Steinbeck, Camus, Bradbury, and Toni Morrison. Favorite poets will probably always be Keats and Charles Bukowski.

My music tastes are eclectic... my music ranges from rock to classical to electropop and many things in between. Currently listening to: At the Drive-In, John Mayer Trio, Chopin's Nocturnes, Joao Gilberto, Phoenix.

Not a movie aficionado, but love Good Will Hunting, Top Gun, Pride & Prejudice, Remember the Titans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time in Morocco... Played pong in Jack Kerouac's old room in Tangiers; had a Marjane picnic; survived a Saharan sandstorm on a camel; played some Gnawa music on the beach at night...
