I am a very active and intellectually inquisitive person. I enjoy learning new things and exploring places, new and familiar. I am fascinated by history, archaeology, geography, biology, geology, information systems, and much more. I live with my dog Juniper and play the piano.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have eclectic music tastes that spans many genres from many times and many countries. I love independent film, but mainly only watch movies at film festivals. I enjoy nonfiction as well as literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year studying Western Lowland Gorillas along the border of the Central African Republic and Republic of Congo.
