About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Spin globe. Put finger down. Go.
ABOUT ME
I don't really take anything too seriously.
To put it simply, I want to appreciate everything that I possibly can in this life. I'm obsessed with music, pastries, and running long distances in beautiful places. I'm also fairly good at video games and origami.
PHILOSOPHY
Do everything that makes you happy so long as you hurt no one else in the process.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm keeping the door open to anyone who wants to visit New York City without having to pay hundreds of dollars a night for a hotel. I love meeting new people and having adventures, and I think everyone deserves the opportunity to do those things regardless of how much cash they have.
If you're extra nice, I might even be willing to cook for you! :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Three friends of friends' friends lived on my couch two years ago, and we spent our nights staying up on the roof, drinking cocoa and telling epic tales of our triumphs and failures.
More recently an Aussie I met at a music festival in Austin crashed on my couch here in the city for five days, and I'm sure if you asked him, he'd tell you I'm a lovely person.
Interests
I generally like most things. It'd be easier to make a list of things I'm not interested in. That list would consist of: instruction manuals, dishonesty, bureaucracy, cantaloupe..
- festivals
- dancing
- cooking
- running
- drinking

Music, Movies, and Books
We'd be here all day..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 17, my current roommate, my old best friend, his then 12 year old sister and I got in a car together and drove from San Antonio, Texas to Seattle, Washington only stopping on the way for a couple of nights in Los Angeles. On the way back home, we pulled off the highway in Northern California to go run into the Pacific Ocean just to say we'd stepped in it. The trip didn't really make any sense, but it didn't really have to.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of American Top 40's hits from the last twenty years. I'm also a fairly decent dancer, and I own a guitar if anyone's willing to teach me how to play it.
I also have the hook up to free ice cream in the city.
