CURRENT MISSION

Emilio (Italian, 26years old) and I want to immerse ourselves in the local culture & experience all the different aspects of life and language in Indonesia, Malaysia & Thailand.

We were living in a van in New Zealand while travelling and working for a year. In Indonesia we met a magician on a boat to Lombok who invited us into his home, to meet his wife and son and let us borrow his scooter to travel through Sumbawa to Flores. We have met many wonderfully generous people in Indonesia who welcomed us into their homes. We were guests at a school after meeting an English teacher in the mini market who invited us to give his students practice at speaking English. We really enjoy meeting locals and the new experiences this brings. We enjoy everything travelling provides, the amazing, unusual and even the bad moments too, we are very open to all opportunities that come up.

ABOUT US

We are a happy, laid back couple. We like to explore new places and meet new people.
We met 2 years ago in spain and have been travelling together since, we spent a year living in new zealand and are now travelling in indonesia for 1 month before moving on to Malaysia and into SE Asia.
We are good natured people, who are always willing to help and always have a smile on our faces.
We share many passions (hiking, travelling, juggling, dumpster diving, living cheap or free, being independent) and a future project of owning some land and living sustainably, working while we travel to build up lots of ideas for the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW WE PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had some fantastic experiences couch surfing in Morocco, meeting locals and understanding local cultures and food. We have since couch surfed in NZ and Indonesia (but not through the website).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in Morocco - had a fantastic time. Such a great way to meet locals and get a fab insight into the culture.
We have met some fantastic Indonesian people who have welcomed us in their homes during our month long stay here but they were not aware couchsurfing existed!

Interests

Our combined interests include; traveling, scuba diving, juggling, abseiling, reading, snorkelling, swimming, listening to music, hiking, making jewellery, dancing, meeting new people, dumpster diving, hitch hiking, hanging out with friends and learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Neither of us really have favourites but enjoy a wide range of music, books and movies. We like electronic music, goa, psytrance, jungle, dub, reggae.

We are happy to share anything we have a passion for and learn as many new things as possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can teach them English, Italian or Spanish. Can cook good italian food. We can show you how to make basic jewellery. Gardening. We have a wide range of interests that we are happy to share.
