About Me
ABOUT ME
I spent six years as an officer in the US Navy which took me to many corners of the world. For four of those years I was fortunate enough to live and work overseas. Right now I am working on a graduate degree and enjoying the quiet life in the nice Midwestern college town of Lawrence.

Music, Movies, and Books
What do you like to watch, read, and listen to? I own over a thousand books which is something my surfers often comment upon.
As for films, anything starring Clint Eastwood, Mifune Toshiro, Jack Lemmon, Alec Guiness, or Peter Sellers works great.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent an enjoyable couple days in Yonaguni Jima, the most southerly of Japan's numerous islands. Island had a population of less than 500 but amazing natural beauty. Had exceptional hosts and it would be hard to beat the six course meal the town council's president put on for us.
Teach, Learn, Share
There is enough I don't know that I am sure I can learn from just about anyone.
