About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Saving some much needed coin for another worldly adventure. Africa on a bicycle is the dream.

ABOUT ME

Not an extraordinary person,I just live my life to have fun and be happy!

I probably travel too much according to some.I'm not as educated as i should/could be.Can be fairly shy & quite at the start but once you get to know me i'll probably never shut up.

LOVE traveling and would love to travel extensively all over this great globe before i quite this addictive lifestyle and am forced to find a career once again. But maybe that never happens also.....

Im most defiantly a very calm, relaxed & easy going person that roll's with the flow and am happy if your happy.I get bored easily hence i love being active.

Other then that just being happy & positive in life, always optimistic, making the most of a beautiful sunny day, spending time with new found friends, living life and most importantly having a laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

"Never walk on the traveled path,it only leads to where others have been"

"Work to live, not live to work"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately i only discovered the CS world when i was well into my last trip,so i haven't had the opportunity to host anyone yet.
But the pure trust, amazing kindness, extreme hospitality and hugely warm hearted friends i have made from all over the world will never be forgotten.
I'm really looking forward to when my life is more settled and i actually have a home so i can start to host and return the favour to the CS community that's been so incredible to me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had been traveling for over 12 months before i stumbled into the CouchSurfing world in Baku of all places.
Now i cant ever imagine myself going back to Hotels,Hostels,Guest Houses, bed bug dens or flea ridden pits that i had been calling my home prevıously on my traveling ways.
CS has been an absolutely amazing experience for me so far and i hope to continue it as much as possible.
After all why go to a Hotel when you can make friends with the locals.....

Interests

Jumping off high stuff into water, collecting old skool Casio watches, drinking the amber fluid, not contributing to the Australian Tax System, sunny days, travelling, stamp collecting,BBQ's, eating cereal, any sport that contains a ball, travel related photography, tiddlywinks, riding banana boats, not working, exotic bird breeding, jazz flute, eating watermelon in summer.
Just normal stuff i guess!

Music, Movies, and Books

That is a very long list and i have no idea where to start it......

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being evacuated by a Pakistani Army Helicopter in the Hunza Valley after a landslide created a 16km long lake which totally cut off northern Pakistan.Being deported with 2 other travelers from Turkmenistan for overstaying our visa's and consequently being banned for the next 10 years. Having a Burmese river bug shit in my eye causing a huge eye infection while on a 26 hour ferry journey in remote western Myanmar. Having a Kyrgyz "security guard" cock his AK-47 at me for walking through a road block in Osh while looking for accommodation.

Teach, Learn, Share

My ears are always open and i'll glady share anything i know which might be of help to anyone
