To continue my travels even as I end my amazing year in England :-)

ABOUT ME

Ashley - I am currently studying abroad at the University of Birmingham through UMD. When I am home I am involved at the Duluth Playhouse, which is a community theater, both as a performer in musicals, and as an instructor for 5-6 year-old children and over the summer worked with a pilot program for autistic youth. I love dancing (my minor in school) and have started taking some classes in Birmingham, England (my new second home)
Jacob - Also currently studying abroad at the University of Birmingham through UMD. An international studies Major and theater and math minor. I have performed at The Duluth Playhouse, Universities, Minnesota Ballet, DECC, Change of Pace Theater, and am currently in a production of Sweeney Todd at the Musical Theater Guild at the University of Birmingham. I also enjoy tap dancing and singing.

We are currently studying in England and want to see as much of the world as we can during this year!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met amazing people on my first couch surfing stay. I hope to continue the trend and when I am home and have a place to live to share it with some surfers :-)

Couch surfing is like a big play area to make friends in. If you put yourself out there and try to connect with someone I really feel like it will happen. My first experience with it gave made me friends with an AMAZING couple who I will never forget. So don't think of this as just a cool place to sleep over at, think of them as a good friend. :-)
