About Me
Hello hello. I'm an italian artist who left the urban madness and decided to live in nature.
I host couchsurfers and workawayers from any part of the world, no matter the age the sex or the religion, but I require my guests to be honest kind and respectful.
I generally host one or two nights, after that, you might end up helping out renovating my house, but no worries, usually I ask before.
If I don't have to work, I offer myself as a guide, here it's plenty of beautiful walks and stunning views.
I like intelligent humour, laid back and relaxed people, different points of view, but mostly people who enjoy their life.
PHILOSOPHY
"Take life lightly, that lightness is not superficial, but gliding on things from above, not having boulders on the heart"
Italo Calvino.
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference."
Robert Frost
"Wherever you go, there you are,
and whatever you are doing, just do it!"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I have time I love to host and to be hosted, even if the couch surfing spirit is fading more and more and you need to be careful to avoid freeloaders, droolers, and twats...(ah no , twats have always been around, sorry!) ;)
Interests
I love languages, poetry, drawing, painting, photography, reading, cinema, visiting cities by bike, walking, beach combing, hiking, cooking, living and laughing.
I like the countryside, the sea during the winter and the mountain during the summer, design, arts and craft, granma's recipes, to get my hands dirty (gardening, building, diy, bricolage)
I get along with any kind of people, ethnicity and age. I'm definitely an atheist but respect who is not. Whatever you believe is important you do it in respect of yourself, others, and this planet we are living on, please.
I'm very direct and I prefer honest people who speak their mind , but kindly.
I like good fresh traditional food , accompanied by witty or silly but more important, funny conversations.
Activities: hiking, walking, thinking, travelling, making questions, a lot of questions, too many sometimes!
- poetry
- red wine
- nature
- good food
- russian literature
- classic literature
Music, Movies, and Books
I love classic literature cause has always something to teach. I'm kind of OCD sometimes and get obsessed with thematics. Now I'm reading Russians and can't stop, and having such a good time!

Above all I love classic music an opera, then punk and some indie folk. It depends on the mood.
I absolutely dislike pop music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first trip, when I was 17 years old: Interrail in Austria-Czecoslovakia-Hungary-Romania-Bulgaria-Turkey-Greece as a backpacker sleeping everywhere: couch, public gardens, streets, trains, boats. A real couchsurfing experience before the invention of CouchSurfing (and during the war in the Balcans!)
Romanians were the best hosts ever!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make pizza, hand made pasta (gnocchi or orecchiette i.e.), how to speak with hands and how to do many things at the same time not finishing any.
I like to learn everything, from blacksmithing to crochet. I like challenges.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Excellent homemade meals and some witty humour
