About Me

I'm a full-time student studying art. I decided to quit my corporate day job and do something I really wanted to do, and I couldn't be happier! My life's mission is to travel and meet new people along the way. Wander, discover and learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new(ish) to the Couchsurfing community but hey, it's better late than never! I want to travel as much as possible, and meeting people through this site might be the best option for me. So, here I am.

Interests

Live music, watching movies, reading, making art, riding my bike, sharing stories, books and bookstores, visiting museums/galleries.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music: funk, R&B, reggae, rock, alt country, house, soul... You name it, I like it!

Movies:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Star Wars, A Clockwork Orange, Never On Sunday, High Fidelity.

Books:
Newspapers and blogs. I listen to a lot of podcasts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Kenya to help out at an orphanage. The experience was life-changing. I met wonderful, bright children who were abandoned by their families and were given a second chance. I volunteered at the orphanage's clinic which was open to all of the villagers nearby. I got to play nurse for a day and it was eye opening.

Teach, Learn, Share

Toronto is my hometown. I'm familiar with all events in and around the city. Toronto has tons of festivals that focus on film, food, sport, art, and most of them are free. I know a lot of great places to eat, drink and see stuff. If you need recommendations, I can help. I'm happy to show a new friend my city.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a couch and an inflatable mattress. The couch isn't big but it's comfy. I've slept on it. It's just not very long. But if you're OK with that, then you're welcome to it. If not, I have an inflatable mattress instead.

Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, France, Kenya, Mexico, Spain, United States
