About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Spread colour, love and laughter around the world
ABOUT ME
Well because we have registered as a couple I suppose we should tell you about both of us. We are both lving in Coventry, England at the moment. Wayne is in medical school at Warwick Uni and I am currently working in the hospital as a nurse.
I also work for Medecins Sans Frontiers (Doctors without Borders) and I have completed 4 missions with them so far, 2 in the DRC, one in Haiti and one in Central African Republic.
Me and Wayne met in London where we worked together for a year or so before getting together :) I am originally from Galway, in the west of Ireland and Wayne is from Wales. When Wayne finishes medical school we are hoping to work together overseas, spending a lot of our time in Africa hopefully!
PHILOSOPHY
The more colourful the better....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We travelled around France in 2010 and spent a lot of time couchsurfing, we both really loved the experience. Since we have been living in Coventry we have hosted some couchsurfers and made some amazing friends through the couchsurfing community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It has been amazing so far...we have met some wonderful people and made some really good friends.
Interests
We both enjoy music, Wayne plays guitar & I try to play the tin whistle!
We like all kinds of films, we are both veggie and love to cook & discover new recipes! We love to travel, spend time with nature. I got a sewing machine for my birthday and have enjoyed working out how to use it..which is an ongoing process! We both really like just having a few pints with friends and having interesting and sometimes bizarre conversations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one thing? Not possible I´m afrad....for me it was spending 6 months in Kenya volunteering in an orphanage, I met such wonderful and beautiful children and the staff that worked there were truely amazing which inspired me to pursue a career in tropical nursing. Working with Medecins Sans Frontiers has been so wonderful and is a realy important part of my life!
For Wayne it was spending a month in Lesotho during university doing research, fulfilling his dream by studying medecine and travelling to Lamu in Kenya in 2011.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people Irish, Wayne could teach you how to play the guitar! Wayne has a BSC & MSC in Human Sciences/Biology and is very interested in spreading the science love! We are both vegetarian and I would love to share my love for new recipes and peanut curry with anyone!
