ABOUT ME

Hmmmm I haven't updated this for years!! and so much has changed.....well, it has and it hasn't. I enjoy life. I enjoy the sun. I enjoy music and laughter and talking and dancing and making soup. I've had jobs in industries that range from acting to NGO's to independant radio stations. My current house situation may not be conducive to sleeping on the couch but I'd love to share a drink and a natter and introduce you to some of the most wonderful, vibrant people. Safe travels! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosting surfers for a number of years now in a number of different houses around Wellington. Each and every one of them has made me smile and be thankful for this project. I've not surfed a great deal but when I do set out around the great wide world I hope to be able to pass on the same joy to other hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a couple of people who are travelling New Zealand via the couch surfing project, at a party a couple of years ago. They were great fun and after a quick discussion with my flatmates we registered our house.....and subsequent houses!

Interests

I love meeting new people and taking the time to enjoy life's twists and turns. I have a great love for the environment, music and, well, basically life's little joy's.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Requiem for a Dream, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and 21 Grams are all personal fave's.
Books: Where the Wild Things Are, Anything by Dr. Seuss (particularly The Lorax and Ohh The place's you'll go), Catch 22, Brave New World.....all great reads.
Music:Radiohead, Interpol, TV on the Radio, The Doors, Pluto, Ben Harper. Also, so much great music is being made right here in Wellington. Fat Freddy's Drop, Trinity Roots, Rico Suave, Lady Luck...mmm try it, you'll enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in a wonderful community in country NSW, Australia. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere amongst pristene native bush. Rising every morning and enjoying a cup of tea amidst kangaroos on a dawn graze. Dancing, laughing, living with excellent people who were all completely welcoming to a total stranger that it felt like I could live there forever.....and maybe, just maybe, I will....
