About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Crossing all of Japan by bicycle !

ABOUT ME

Other than that, I love shamelessly dancing to Britney, I love riding bicycles, I love when people don't take my place for a free hotel, and when I'm completely overwhelmed by work I just stop doing anything and put my head in a bush.

PHILOSOPHY

I look at the world like it has a crush on me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My home is yours, as long as you don't empty the fridge. Let me cook for you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a whole project of photographing the outer borders of the European Union, mostly on Couchsurfing.

Interests

This is a test : if you don't answer this question in your couchrequest, I'm not hosting you (except if you're sir Patrick Stewart) : when it rains on you, the rain makes you wetter, but do you make the rain drier?

Music, Movies, and Books

I like crappy culture, between Transformers and Britney. I also happen to love Chaplin, Klapisch or Tex Avery, and I can watch hours of Youtube survival stuff.

I also like photos that leave you speechless because they are powerful instead of being pretty.

Music ? Afro-Cuban, tropical bass, blues rock, classic jazz, bagpipes, Vivaldi, flamenco, hardcore rap, afro-beat, a pinch of Metallica, sad folk songs, a lotta funk and some ska-punk on top of it all. As long as it has soul or makes me dance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was a kid, I managed to get my leg stuck behind my head. Worst panick ever.

Shortly thereafter, my mother taught me how to hitch-hike. I've recently topped the 30 000 kilometers bar, that's an achievement I'm proud of.

Teach, Learn, Share

Colors do not exist, they are a complex and subtle creation of your nerve system. (for real)

I can teach you how to make a fire without matches or a lighter. Or how to use your camera properly. Or how to swear in French, to give your swearing a touch of flair.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've been known to leave Belgian Chocolate in my hosts' cupboards as a thank you.
