About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Figuring out how a law degree could help me making the world a better place
ABOUT ME
I'm a law student. I'm a photographer. I'm a trumpet player. I'm part of a rowing team (probably the weakest link). I have a strong obsession to read every piece of writing that crosses my path (and may it be the list of ingredients on my breakfast cereals).
But I have no idea if these fact are a sufficient description of myself. Other people tend to think that I am an organized person. At least, that is not my perception of how I manage to get my things done (while writing this, I should be writing a paper for law school). In my school yearbook I came in second in the poll "most likely to become a dictator" as well as in the poll "too nice for this world".
So I have no idea what your perception of me might be if we have the chance to meet, but I hope I can make it a pleasant experience.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to follow the Kantian ideal ...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
There is a song from Phil Collins which describes my attitude to traveling pretty well:
"Tell everybody i'm on my way
New friends and new places to see
With blue skies ahead, yes i'm on my way
And theres no where else i'd rather be"
I try to be a new friend in a new place for everyone whom I meet while traveling or who visits hamburg. Up to now, most people surfing my couch were friends, friends of friends, friends of relatives of friend (and so on), but I think there might be a lot of interesting people out there whom I would miss if I restrict me to people who just happen to know someone I know.
On the other hand I have made splendid experiences with the people I met when traveling or studying abroad. Hopefully, a lot of these will follow.
Interests
I more and more become attracted to the problems of equity and justice in international relations (state-wise).
