About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just enjoying the typically life of a student in an awesome student's town
ABOUT ME
On 23. August 2011 I'm going to fly to Istanbul to visit lots of beautiful cities, places, landscapes and meet with cool people to have a good time all around Eastern Europe. I'd like to visit spots in Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Austria on my way back to Germany via bus and train.
At home I'm currently studying communication science in Münster, play Handball and work at a consultancy as a part-time job to earn some money for my next "adventures".
From 2009-2010 I've travelled to NZ and enjoyed the country for 8 months...on the journey I saw beautiful spots in Hongkong, Macao, NZ, OZ, Cook Islands and USA...so I think I was pretty much on a world trip (just wanted to do a work and travel year in New Zealand but yeah, you want to see so many places! ;)
I think I'm quite friendly, funny, easy going and all this stuff...I really like to travel and meet new people like everyone else on CS...so that's why I'm here.
I like going out and have one or ten drinks, enjoy beautiful landscapes/nature...
PHILOSOPHY
Under a clear blue sky
no mountain high enough
no matter what will come
I'm gonna cheer you up

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Tried CS first in November 2009 and it was so cool...while I'm travelling I like to spend one or two nights at the place, when I really need a couch urgently and it's always such a great time with the people...
So while I was quite on the scrounge during my journey, I like to offer my flat share to travellers so I can keep the breeze of travelling during my studies.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Tried it the first time in New Zealand and it is great...all the time you meet so many nice people, friendly and crazy. Awesome experience and always different to the last one...
Thanks to all the people I've met through CS and thanks to the people I'm going to meet soon...

Music, Movies, and Books
*some cool movies: Boondock Saints, Big Lebowski, Invention of Lying, Friendship!, Falling Down, Taxi Driver, Donnie Brasco, Berlin Calling, Balls Out - Gary the tennis coach*
*favourite kind of music: of course everything I like from chilled out (Radical Face, Jose Gonzalez, Clueso, Philip Poisel), Indie/Rock (Maximo Park, Kings of Leon, Bloc Party, Metronomy, Beatsteaks, The National) to electronic-minimal-party music (Deichkind, Boys Noize, Moonbootica, Frittenbude, Paul Kalkbrenner) and during my trip I really began to love the good old stuff like Dire Straits, Neil Young, ACDC, Johnny Cash or Pearl Jam...I absolutely love it when people hang around in hostels or at beaches to start a cool jam session with guitars and drums*
Some of my favourite songs at the moment:
Radical Face - Welcome Home
The National - Fake Empire
Boys Noize vs Erol Alkan - Lemonade (great live electronic music DJs)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
cruising on 90 Mile beach, waching the sunset on beautiful beaches on the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, watched some whales in Kaikoura, was trapped on a small island while kayaking during thunder storms, gettin' drunk all night at the Arts Factory jungle hut in Byron Bay, Australia, secret beach parties in OZ and USA, drinking with homeless people at Venice Beach, LA...
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't think that my studies in communication science have been so effective to teach something but I can reach my nose with my tongue!!! Pretty good, ey!?
