Love the outdoors, a bit obsessed with being green, vegetarian who loves to eat.

Currently travelling round the world with husband Arthur - we have been going thirteen months so far, and expect to be travelling for 2 to 3 years. The plan is to do the whole trip without flying. Haven't quite managed it so far - had to do a flight from Hanoi to Hong Kong when we couldn't get a second Chinese visa., but nearly! Biggest adventures so far have been taking the trans Siberian, cycling round South East Asia, and getting a cargo ship from Asia to Australia.

To meet people, share stories, and learn more about the places we visit. Plus I love cooking for guests (and hosts!).

Interests

Getting outdoors, especially in the mountains, wild camping, wild swimming.

At home I like to make a pot of coffee and read a book, listen to the radio, sew.

We love to cook and invite all our friends over for long messy (read boozy) Sunday lunches.

I'm trying to get better at French, and at travel blogging (eek).

I can teach you how to make a patchwork quilt if you have a week or two spare!

Otherwise we've got plenty of travel tips from our time the road across Russia and Asia, and from previous trips in Europe and the Americas.

We're keen cooks, and would love to cook you a meal. We're happy to chat about our travels, or planning/saving for a big trip. Also happy to chat on about walking in the lake district - we lived there for a few years before this trip, and I can't keep away from the hills!
