About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to get out the comfort zone to go to where magic happens
ABOUT ME
I research and teach about educational issues. Also participate in a political project in a high school. I really love living in Buenos Aires cause it lets you mix moments of study, work and fun. Stuff I all enjoy as well. Friends, music, dance, tasty food and drinks can not be a lack in my life... neither do trips!
PHILOSOPHY
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways; the point is to change it" (Marx)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Travelling is one of the things I wouldn´t resign ever! Knowing other countries, cultures, different people and ways of living is priceless. So, being part of this project means not only that I can enjoy it myself, but also that I can help other people to do it.

Interests
I´m interested in education, history and politics. I love watching films, listening records but also live shows and dancing -specially dancing-. I could stay awake all night dancing Funk, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Latin American music or Tango... quite a wide range of musical taste. I´m also fond of cooking and trying new -solid and liquid- flavors at home and in ethnic restaurants.

Music, Movies, and Books
Hate to choose.
I love directors thay don´t play around with your time: Haneke, Lars Von Trier, Kim Ki Duk, Tarantino and Woody Allen.
Music? Pugliese for Tango; Billy Holiday for Jazz; The Doors, Pink Floyd and Janis Joplin for rock (though there are many argentinian rock bands that I love); Lila Downs has won the first place for Latin American music and Django Reinhardt, Lauryn Hill and Fionna Apple, are my last adquisition of obsessions (Put on this list while you finish reading the profile. Impossible not to like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v7kN9UXzlE&list=PL7794D4386A03109F).
What it comes to literature, I think I´m still exploring. "El Pasado" by Alan Pauls and "Plataforma" by Michel Houellebecq would be the discoveries of the year.
List keeps open to recomendations...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel around many places in Argentina doing hitchhiking was an amazing experience... you feel like doing couch surfing on the road and you get to know the places and its people deeply.
I´m sure that my most exciting experiences are yet to come!
Teach, Learn, Share
I cook really good pasta and pizza (one of the best italian influence in argentina, besides ice-cream!).I can recomend good turistic and non turistic spots in B.A. that no one should miss, including political activities if you are interested.
Also, you can come with me to Tango Lessons or Tango shows.
What am I interested in? Learning about food, drinks, music, dance, cinema and political issues of other countries.
