HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have an apartment and can host. When traveling, I like to split accommodations with people we meet to keep costs down and spirits high.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been homeless and random people have invited me into their abodes. From catching free hotel stays orchestrated by uber-cool night managers to meeting fellow travelers at random in hostels, I've seen my fair share of surfing sofas.

I'm a languages, snow sports and history teacher. Sometime marathon runner and triathlete. I have extensive knowledge in these areas.
I also know a lot about running vegetable oil in diesel cars.
Summer 2023 I’m on a cross country, round-trip electric motorcycle journey from Long Beach CA to Canada. There and back again, like a hobbit.
My main accommodations are usually in my tent in the woods but if I am asking you for a place to stay it is because I either can’t find anything or there are no forests available close by.
