ABOUT ME

Steven is a kiwi & Robin was born in Michigan. We met while working at a summer camp in Michigan in 2001 and have been together for nearly 10 years (married 4). We are now living in Corvallis, Oregon. We love outdoor recreation- hiking, running, sailing, kayaking, snowshoeing etc. We are both curious people, always interested in learning new things, and enjoy traveling and meeting new friends. We are not "party animals", but definitely enjoy sampling local brews and meeting great people wherever we are. We also have a sweet dog named Banjo. He is great natured but no good if you're allergic!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We surfed plenty in Europe, and hosted several people at our last home in Oregon - we're looking forward to continuing the trend here in Alaska.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted several people at our house in Corvallis, visited and hosted many, many friends and family over the years. We also stayed with great CS hosts and made new friends in Portugal, France, Switzerland and Turkey.

Interesses

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

We have been sea kayaking in Abel Tasman National Park (NZ) twice and it was absolutely magical- crystal blue waters, white sand beaches, lush native forest and fur seals playfully swimming around our kayak. Steven has crossed the Atlantic Ocean while working on a yacht, and Robin has spent many summers studying subalpine trees in the mountains of Oregon and Washington.
