About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, meet, learn, grow, and most of all.. to shred in every continent!

ABOUT ME

I'm a 21 year old student at Texas Tech University, Majoring in Electronic Media & Communications with a Minor in English. This obligation keeps me pretty much chained-up in Lubbock, Texas for the majority of the year. When I'm in Lubbock, my co-workers and I take out the shop boat and wakeboard a few times a week at a local lake (I'm sure you would be more than welcome to tag along). Wakeboarding is pretty much the love of my life. I'm very free spirited, so staying in one place too long just doesn't work. In the winter I hit the mountains as much as possible to snowboard (so anyone living in the Rockies with a free couch.. What's up?) When I graduate next December I've decided i'm buyin' a plane ticket to anywhere and working stuff out when I get there. I am an artist by nature and my eyes are wide open. I see the beauty in every detail of the world and I just wanna see a lot more. We get one life; why waste it in one spot?

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about discovering who you are, the relationships you build while doing it, and the things you learn and see along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Spreading the word to friends and family any chance I get! Moving in to a new house so for now I'll say I DO have a couch open for a limited time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every once in a while i'll get really drunk and wake up on some random person's couch. Thanks for that by the way! Hoping to expand to more sober experiences asap!

Interests

wakeboarding, snowboarding, videography/editing/photography, making art with any media, playing hockey, MUSIC!(talking about it, listening to it, playing it; doesn't matter)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- Fight Club, Out Cold, Wedding Crashers, That's It, That's All, etc. (there's a lot more)

Music- Anything but country music..

Books- Don't enjoy reading too much as it requires sitting still for too long; but "The Road" is a really good book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving (perris, California)- impossible to explain the feeling of front flipping out of an airplane 13,000 ft. above the ground. Everyone should try it at least once.

Bungee Jumping (Destin, Florida)- pretty insane. 75' drop off of some scaffolding.

The Rocky Mountain Range- snowboarded there a good portion of my life. Incredible sights.

Bout to build a mini ramp and a totem poll for the backyard. Is that amazing? i don't know...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm down to learn anything someone's willing to teach. I'm sort of a fan of interesting facts ("Yesterday" by the Beatles was originally named "Scrambled Eggs") and finding out about new bands I've never heard (check out Death in Vegas).

I can teach you how to juggle, live off of nothing but PB&J (to save money for lift tickets), do drunken backflips off of random inanimate objects, party... well... pretty much anything I guess. HAHA
