About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To give people a chance to experience Madison in the way we want to experience new cities in Argentina.

ABOUT ME

Deena and I met in college. We are outdoorsy and adventurous. This is my first time to South America.

PHILOSOPHY

Right now to laugh is to be happy.

M. Ward's song lyrics from 'To Go Home':

God it's great to be alive, takes the skin right off my hide. To think that I'll have to give it all up some day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is a tree in Cambodia near where the Kmer Rouge did a lot of killing. It looked as though it was covered in big dead, brown, sticky fruit. As we made noise beneath it the fruit began to stir and flap and we realized that there were thousands of giant bats flapping in agitation. The contrast of vitality to a most recent genocide was a hopeful, amazing sight.
