Overview
About Me
I'm from Caxias do Sul, a city situated in the mountains of the far south of Brazil. I'm 30 years old and I love travelling, meeting interesting people, learning new cultures and discovering new places. I'm open-minded and I try to enjoy life every single moment. Music, photography, food, movies, challenges and laughs are amongst my interests.
I like to play the piano every now and then, I have 40+ piano compositions, and I would say only half of them are pretty good tunes, the other half not so much hahah... I have lived nearly 7 years overseas, one year in England (UK) and six years in Australia. It was a great experience, as a result I have friends from numerous countries. I love my family, I have dreams, I like adventures and I really appreciate pasta.
I am currently writing a fantasy fiction novel (in English, as my written Portuguese is not great), and I hope to meet not only some travellers but also some locals in Caxias do Sul. I'm usually keen for a cup of coffee :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first experience surfing couches was before I signed up to this platform. Ten years ago I made a 2,000km bicycle trip in 41 days, surfing 12 couches from people I didn't know. Through this platform I surfed only a couple of couches and hosted four travellers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode 2,018km by bike in 41 days, and with this trip I raised a good amount of money for children with cancer and I also got a tan that lasted for 8 months hahah...
Once I was sailing with my dad in the evening and the mast broke down before we reached the shore, we had to fix it adrift, it was very cold!
Once a beggar came to me asking for money and I said "I don't have money, but I can help you to beg for the next hour" and I got around R$7,00 for him (it was an interesting way to see how tough is the lifestyle of a beggar).
I created a board game which I have never won (yet, the time will come).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play the piano, some moves in chess, how to make 5 different paper planes and how to cook pasta. I can also teach you some photograph techniques, how to sail (and how to fix the mast adrift, if this situation ever happens to you as well haha), many things about the south Brazilian culture, how to make fire with water and an awesome magic trick with cards :D
