CURRENT MISSION
Have the best ski season ever
ABOUT ME
I Live and work in the NY area and I use this great metropolitan center as my gateway to the rest of the world. I travel so often I probably need the excuse of hosting a CS to explore my own city again. I work as a Freelance cameraman and use that to my advantage to make my own schedule and focus on what I really love..traveling.
PHILOSOPHY
As a New Yorker, I sort of buck the trend of the "live to work" philosophy. I tend to like the more European Idea of "work to live". Life is here to be enjoyed and its the people you meet and experiences you have during this precious time that makes things interesting. If more people took advantage of the learning experiences that travel can offer, we'd live in a more peaceful and happy world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live in a unique area right outside of NYC where the city is close, but other beautiful areas of the lower Hudson valley are easily accessible.
I often meet a lot of great people working in NY and many of them are usually from other countries. It's great showing NY to people that can really appreciate it with fresh eyes.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've heard that CSing is like traveling without actually getting on a plane...not bad! I have a few friends that do it and I'm happy to finally join up.
