ABOUT ME

Hmm, I reckon I'm pretty open minded, grow a mean beard, make a great spaghetti bolognese and am equally happy raving it up in a club or lazing around on a beach or in a field somewhere...

For the past two and a half years I've been living and working in Beijing. It's been great and I've had a chance to visit some great places in my spare time, but there are plenty more still on the list.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Heard about the delights of couch surfing from a French friend in St Petersburg. He told me I should get involved, which is what I did for the first time in KL with Hemant (see below - legend!)... loved the experience and am looking forward to offering my own couch soon when I get settled in Beijing.

I once saw a beetle and a spider locked in a deathmatch in the corner of a pub in Cambridgeshire. Made my friend cry. The beetle won.
