Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
keep being myself in this crazy world
ABOUT ME
I studied history in Barcelona and the last year of uni I did an erasmus in Venice which changed my life. Since then, I haven't stopped traveling around Italy, Greece, Portugal, England and France, where I worked in a hotel in Montpellier and Cap d'Agde. When I had nothing else to do I saved up everything I could and moved to Greece, where I lived for seven months. Then I came back to Barcelona and explained my adventures in the Balkans to my friends. One of them (the dangerous Fufu) brought the idea of a big and long trip around south America. So that day we decided our trip and some months later we did the biggest tour in our lives, more than 30.000 miles by road! Now I'm back to my city, where I try to live a common life and help anyone who needs any information or advice about my city.
I'm working the nightshift in a hostel so i have not so much time to host people at home, but i'm trying to help meeting or giving some tips to travelers.
PHILOSOPHY
I work to live and do not live to work. Is not important for me to take own things as a labour safety a car or other things that in the end are not more that properties that ultimately tie you to a place and to a city. I like to travel to know people and to learn things in any place do not conceive the idea of travelling to do turism only visiting monuments and museums. I am charmed with knowing someone and something goes out to take in some typical bar before that to get into a galerie of art. The best moments are those through that you live without having to pay for his existence. The value of a person or an experience does not measure up for his wealth or his price but for since it you makes feel. To change knowledge, information and to help without waiting for anything in exchange is something that us improves and improves the sick world in which we live. I trust in the kindness of the individual and would like to be more compromised by voluntary work and you practise in that it does not influence the money.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience in couchsurfing it was not mine at all. I was lost in Bulgaria with a friend who had some problems with the passport, so he decided to "surf some couch" and i went with him. The guy who hosted us was so kind and offer us anything he had. Then i saw the strength of this net and all the things that "we" could do with it! I signed up in the site, and I began to use it in my first trip to Turkey, i found everywhere nice people! and me and my flatmate decided to host people in our place.
I use it many times in South America and the Balkans, to surf and meet people it's a good way to know local people and others points of view.
Now I'm living in Barcelona and I try to help people, host them and put my little piece in this movement!
Interessen
I love to create things, I like to put a little piece of me in every thing I make. That's why I like handcrafting.
Also I like to learn things that aren't really useful for other people, like juggling or playing the guitar (but I'm slowly learning :P), but these useless things that we love are the ones that make the difference with the other animals!
I like activities that aren't influenciated by money, like CS, the free exchange of stuff and experiences, and taking home old furniture from the street. I don't care that much about the looks, I care about its practical use instead.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I jumped from Rialto bridge in Venice and I swam in the Canal Grande.
I did the "W" way in Torres del Paine mountains (Chile) and I've seen one of the most amazing views of the world.
I was living in Greece the during 2009/2010 and I saw a society who fights hard for their rights and don't say "ok" to the imperialism, and their are still fighting nowadays!!
