ABOUT ME

I grew up in San Diego, had a brief stint (4 years) in San Francisco and then headed home. A few months later I packed up and moved to beautiful Olympia, WA. It was the artesian well water that comes out of a pipe in a parking lot downtown that convinced me that there is no place better. Well, I got sick of the rain so three years later here I am back in California.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still working on this. But the central tenets of my philosophy are love, love, love, and always trying your best.

I've hosted a little, I've surfed a little and all of my experiences with couchsurfing have been great. I hope to have many more!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

For books, I am currently working and loving on The Riders in the Chariot by Patrick White. Some of my favorite authors, are Eduardo Galeano, Margaret Atwood, Barbara Kingsolver, Roberto Bolaño, Dave Eggers, fiction, non-fiction, classics, short stories, books in English or Spanish, poetry... I read a lot and it is hard to choose favorites.

Music depends on my mood but mostly its gotta have soul.

And movies are great, I probably watch more documentaries than anything else, but a drama or comedy or occasionally a horror film will sneak its way into my netflix queue from time to time.
