I love three things, conversation, bicycles, and pretty much everything else. Progressive politics, vegan lifestyle, gardener, builder, re-user, teacher. I'm looking to explore and travel and make my world and my community a better, happier place, whatever that may mean.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to enrich my understanding of other people's life histories so that I can be better equipped as a teacher, friend, family member and contributor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been surfing and hosting for about three years now and I've met awesome people all over the US. I haven't Surfed outside the country yet, but it's on my to-do-list.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

They've all been amazing! Everything from DIY punk houses to private bedrooms in million dollar villas. Cities, resort towns, farm houses, suburbs, the whole gambit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sang a karaoke duet to a table full of tourists from Tokyo at a bar in San Diego. The song was "You've Lost That Loving Feeling". You know, the one from Top Gun. I sang the Anthony Edwards part.
