ABOUT ME

I moved up from Stockholm to Umeå in northern Sweden to get away from all the people and commerce. I really like the people and university life here, so I guess it was a good move.

PHILOSOPHY

I´m trying to be as open to the world as i dare, learing and experiencing things that i can use to understand and chanfe myself and the world around us.

The world is what the people wants it to be, and changing it requries us to fight against ignorance, lack of knowledge, the norms and morals that hold us back and those who benefit from the current state of affairs.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When i travel i want to get to know the people, what their life is like and how they see things. CS seems to be a perfect way to acheive that goal! If anyone comes to Umeå I´m looking forward to give the same favour to anyone, whether i´t´s a cup of coffee or a couple of nights on our couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Me and my friend made a trip through former Yugoslavia and Hungary while couchsurfing during the summer of 2011. We had a great experience when we stayed at other hosts and I´ll be happy to return the favour to anyone who is heading up to northern Sweden.

Intereses

As long as I´m whith good friends It doesn´t matter that much what to do. I love parties and nights out with friends who are not afraid to show they like eachother. I really love long discussions, sitting down with something to drink and letting the hours fly.

Music has been one of my big interests, and i like going to watch live music at rock festivals or concerts. There´s nothing like a good metal concert to feel you´re alive.

I have played a lot of tabletop games before, and in Umeå I´ve started playing a lot of boardgames with friends.

Música, películas y libros

I´ve been into metal since i saw In Flames perform i Stockholm in 2004. I´ve listened a lot to Dark Tranquillity and Opeth. I also enjoy listening to men with guitars and Swedish hip-hop/reggae, for example Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Ulf Lundell, Stefan Sundström and Timbuktu, Looptroop and Fattaru.

I like watching movies, and some favourites in no particular order are The Thin Red Line, The Big Lebowski, Antichrist, Life of Brian and the Lord of the Rings.

When it comes to books i enjoy reading about politics and history. One of my favourite authors are George Orwell and the Swedish historian Peter Englund. I would like to read a lot more than i do, but i find it hard to find peace and time to read when I´m not on vacation.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Going to India and Sweden with a group of 18 Swedes and Indians during a culture exchange program. The things i learned and the friends I made during those 6 months has really made an impact on me.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Swedish anyone? I guess i could teach a fair bit about Swedish public life and European history, and share the secret knowledge of playing the nose flute.
