ABOUT ME

We are traveling in australia, New Zeeland and Asie for a year. We would like to change our habits, meeting new peoples, discover new cultures and improve our english.

We love Art (in museums of course but in the street and nature too), music, architecture, history, travels, sports (snorkeling, paragliding) and environemental protection.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love all kinds of music but particulary Gipsy music (Goran, Emir, Besho Drom, Amsterdam Klesmer …), electro swing or gipsy (caravan palace, white mink cotton club, oi va voi, …), Folk (mumford, dry the river, bon iver, the broken circle breackdown bluegrass band…), electronic and trip hop (Caribou, portishead, massive attack, Morcheeba, Trentenmoller, Lulu rouge, Moderat, slow magic, …) and of course rock, ska, inde rock, french festiv music (les orgres de barback, debout sur le zinc, la rue ketanou, thomas fersen, …) and we really love Sigur Ros, Jonsi and Kwoon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Few years ago we have been in Iceland to travel with friends. During this road trip we found an amazing small music festival in the east coast in a little fisherman village. The place was beautiful, the music was incredible (a crazy icelandic reggae band) and the light was just perfect (no really night in this period). It was the Bræòslan festival ! Everybody wears their lopapeysa it was a great experience !

Teach, Learn, Share

Tom can teach you the guitar or show you how to play the banjo (he plays in a celtic band) and a bit electronic music MAO. He would like to learn trombone and dijeridoo and all instruments as possible.
Lily can share her skills in art history and particulary contemporary art. She would like to know all the thinks is possible to « do it yourself » (cheese, bread, garden, house, …)
We both want to learn differents languages.
