About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am out to identify the American mentality and cultural influence under various contexts and understand the role of consciousness in reality and reality in consciousness.

ABOUT ME

... Wish I knew...Some call me the space cowboy, some a backwoods beatnik, and still some a menace to psychology, I dunno, I figure they just haven't gotten to know me. I'm still workin' on that m'self.

PHILOSOPHY

This is a statement of values I wrote to Quest University Canada as a part of my application. I still stand by these words and feel they best introduce my basic personal philosophy.

Statement of Values
Prior to establishing any long-term commitment, I strongly sense it wise to have a clear understanding of the common values of both parties involved. Thus, I hereby declare the core values and beliefs I personally subscribe to, in order to form a more fulfilling relationship for all concerned, or to determine beforehand that relationship to be incompatible with value itself.
First of all I value people, I value worlds, and I value life. I value the consciousness residing in all of these things. I believe that mutually beneficial relationships with consideration to all whom they affect are the only relationships worth having, and anything less to have no lasting objective value. I believe in the power of cooperation over competition, of respect over contempt, of integrity over compromise.
I invest in the sacredness of human emotion. I find particular value in compassion, joy, gratitude, understanding, and love. I believe in the power of love not only as an emotion but as a concept and aspiration to unite people and thrust them into the heights of human potential.
I agree with Martin Luther Kingâ

Interests

I am most interested in living life to the fullest, but of course this is a vague statement. More specifically I am into hiking into nature's precious territories, writing words of perspective and insight whether fictionalized or more straightforward and academic, creating mixed-media masterpieces with sustainability themes, studying the various realms of humanities knowledge both ancient and modern, including: Philosophy, Anthropology, Psychology, Applied Science, Biology, Religion, Politics, Music, Tantra, Ecology, Linguistics, Entheogenics, Bio-Socio-Engineering, Metaphysics, Prophecy (particularly 2012), and Stuff and Things. I love to eat with good company and conversation. I enjoy strategic games and mental excercises. I enjoy physical exercise with both individual and team games like disc golf, ultimate frisbee, basketball, billiards, kick the can, etc. Maybe it goes without saying... I love to travel and interact with various cultural niches and pockets wherever I go.
