ABOUT ME

Growing up in southwest Colorado I am plagued with an intense need to be outside. I spend my free time Kayaking, Skiing, Climbing, Sailing, Hiking, Sweating, Freezing, and a smattering of other random whimsical activities. I enjoy breaking beyond the conventional boundaries of recreation in any way I see possible. I get along with almost everybody with a sense of humor. On the side I enjoy playing music, reading, drinking coffee, brewing beer, and making things.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in experiencing everything possible in life while not taking anything too seriously and trying to leave a positive impression wherever I go.

Aside from the aforementioned activities I am interested in geology, history, sewing, music, astronomy, boat building, overly functional clothing, frisbee aerodynamics, sandwiches, wool, fire, pet psychology, tesla coils, irish folk dancing, cheese, bocce, and welding.

Musica, film e libri

Music:
I like music from nearly every genre but I mostly listen to Jazz (Kenny G is NOT jazz!!), Folk, Hip Hop, and Alternative.

Books:
I'll read almost anything but a few of my favorites are Jitterbug Perfume (Tom Robbins), The River Why (David James Duncan), Moby Dick (Herman Melville), Kon Tiki (Thor Heyersomething), The Long Way (Bernard Mortessier), The Devil in the Bellfry (Edgar Allen Poe), and anything by Joseph Conrad.

Movies:
The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic, Blazing Saddles, Dr. Strangelove, Juno, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. These movies come to mind though I don't watch many movies.
